I had so much fun this past December at Comanchero 4. While my dad has been there multiple times, I have always wanted to tag along. When I opened my Christmas present from him, I was in shock! "We are leaving tomorrow morning", my dad said. I couldn't even believe it.
This was my first time in Texas. Rick made us feel right at home. The ranch is really cool, there is a huge game room where I played pool every night while waiting for dinner.I shot my first doe and first buck while visiting the ranch. There is a huge variety of game that you don't see in Connecticut.

First visit to Texas and C4 Ranch was a blast. There is a great variety of game on the ranch and some of the biggest whitetails I've ever seen. The ranch house is spectacular, I spent hours just taking in the game room. The outbuildings were set up perfectly for after the shot. The people I met in Texas were very friendly and laid back. Having drinks in the evening and stepping outside to the feel of cool dry Texas air and hearing coyotes howling in the distance was a memorable experience. Can't wait till October to do it again.

The time I had on numerous occasions at Commanchero 4 Ranch will be memories that I hold near and dear for a lifetime. I have never experienced such a trip as I have as this. The quality of deer you have on your ranch exceeds all expectations I had and are beyond comparison to any trips I have been on in the past. From the top notch ranch vehicles that are comfortable and accommodating to the impeccable service and care you gave not only me but my 8-year-old son. The quality of your ranch is impeccable as is the food you serve. The technique Erica and Rick use with the smoked wood and mesquite culinary craft is exquisite. It was such a pleasure and enjoyment spending time with everyone in the amazing game room which supplied out of this world storytelling, fun and laughter after a full day of hunting.
When I brought my 8-year-old son I never fathomed what a heartfelt moment it would be when I witnessed my son hunting and killing his first trophy white tail deer. When he looked at me with tears and amazement in his eyes, I knew we would be talking about this for a lifetime. He will cherish his mount for years to come and always have this story to tell.
